Improvisation for Piano

Improvisation is another word for miracles. The miracle of the emergence of relations that were not intended in this way. Improvisation in general is not the opposite of composition or arrangement. Improvisation means the normality of things always turning out differently than we think. We can plan and some part of our plan may work. But in truth, the real, the decisive things happen unpredictably, when they get to life in an improvised manner.

to find our voice

Music is all about the simultaneity of different voices.

How different can these voices

be when they add the sounds

of violin and bass clarinet to the strict progressions

of Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier?

"Weltenbach" is:

Michel Ackermann - piano

Leo Clemens - violin

Georg Fischer - bassclarinet
